Background

MPRA District #33 is located in the Northeast of BC; so roughly a triangle - BC’s northern boundary (shared with the Yukon), BC’s eastern boundary (shared with Alberta) and the Rocky Mountains. There are two provincial Electoral Districts: Peace River North (PCN) and Peace River South (PCS).

Event:

The MLA for PCS is Mike Bernier and he decided to hold a free Seniors Expo in Dawson Creek on Saturday, October 15^th. This is an information event to advise seniors of services that are available for them. The itinerary is set out in the table below.

Arrangements have been made for District 33 to have a table at this event. Primarily, we will try to identify and recruit prospective members for the MPRA. For those seniors who are not former local government employees, we will talk to them about the services that the MPRA sponsors provide.
